1. Put away your acid to avoid evaporation. If youâre leaving the acid in the tray, be sure to cover the tray. If youâre putting the acid back into its bottle, place the acid bottle in the sink, and turn on the cold water tap. Turn on the extractor fan, place a funnel in the bottle, and pour the acid from the tray into the storage bottle. Be sure to seal the bottle, rinse the tray and funnel with cold water, and put all materials away.
2. Throw all rags, newspaper, and paper towels soaked with grounds and solvents into a metal garbage can with a metal cover. You can keep the waste can in the studio overnight, but itâs wiser to remove all combustible materials from the studio every night.
